The series opens with Tomb of the Queen, where Jayne’s discovery brings her to the attention of the Torrent Control Office, a secret branch of the CIA concerned with magical threats. Her research skills suddenly become operational assets, and she is sent undercover to Trinity College Library in Dublin to investigate the Book of Leinster and its possible connection to necromancy.
