About Brandi Reeds
Brandi Reeds is an American suspense writer whose fiction is built around missing people, fractured memories, family secrets, and the uneasy possibility that the people closest to a character may be hiding the most dangerous truths. A Chicago native, Reeds studied history and English at Northern Illinois University before earning a master’s degree in writing from Seton Hill University. Her bibliography spans adult psychological thrillers published as Brandi Reeds and young adult suspense written under the pseudonym Sasha Dawn, allowing her to explore similar psychological territory for distinctly different audiences.
Her adult fiction under the Reeds name began with Trespassing, published in 2018. The novel follows Veronica Cavanaugh after her husband disappears, creating a domestic mystery in which uncertainty gradually undermines her understanding of her marriage and home life. Reeds uses the framework of a missing-person investigation to build psychological tension around trust, perception, and the secrets concealed inside an apparently ordinary family. The novel became an Amazon Charts bestseller and established the Brandi Reeds name primarily with readers of domestic and psychological suspense.
